LaBoy... hope he isn't out long term

LaBoy is going to have an MRI on his injury. I really hope it isn't serious. He is a critical part of what we are doing up front.

Was it a leg problem? They didn't give it much of a look on tv but the replay made it look like he pulled something while trying to twist around the defender. I thought it was a side or a groin. Hopefully it isn't a knee(obviously) or anything that a couple of weeks off won't cure. Laboy has certainly been part of a defense that I actually feel gets pressure from the front 4. I don't think I can say that about the previous few years.

Seal him in a hyperbaric chamber until the 25th.

I didn't edit anything. Lies, all lies, I tell you.

I know we were all scratching our heads...

myself included, on Draft Day when we were taking D-Lineman. Well, I'm beginning to see the wisdom. The rotation keeps everyone fresh. Berry is a BEAST when he doesn't have to play every down. ...And Laboy (Calvin who??) is part of a pretty decent LB-ing crew. I think he adds ALOT of energy with his non-stop motor. I hope he heals quick. BUT it's nice to have a lil' depth in case he's out a month. GO CARDS!!

But when he comes out he'd be so hungry he could eat a horse. Plus his time in there would feel like an eternity.

oh and after being away from family for 2 weeks, I'm sure his mother would be dying to see him.

It sucks to see anyone get hurt, but fortune has smiled on us in regards to injuries. LaBoy goes down, just as Berry returns. We've had times of catastrophic runs at certain positions -- OT, C, DT, WR and CB come to mind. Just like Seattle is having right now. You can't avoid injuries completely. But, if you are not worse off than having second-stringers start at a minority of positions, you are definitely in good shape.
