Know Thine Enemy: Philadelphia Eagles

Depth Chart from Team Page:

http://www.philadelphiaeagles.com/te...Chart_Text.asp

Quick Notes:
1. 4 out of the 5 offensive linemen are on the injury report.

Game Thoughts:

This is a crossroads game. The Cardinals are fighting to stay on the course of improvement, and the Eagles are fighting to prevent there fall from the top of the NFC.

This should make for the best game out of the three played on Turkey Day.

Agree it should be a good game. I am surprised at the number of posts that seem to imply we will lose.

We will be too cold, too tired, Eagles D too good, short week, travel etc. I don't want to hear it. We can win this game and we should win this game.

The low temperature I heard is supposed to be in the low 30's. That is not too cold and no precipitation forecasted.

Attack this team and score early and they will crumble. We have to tackle well and special teams needs to rebound.

A winnable game in my opinion. Will be a great ending to Turkey day also.

GO CARDS!!!

It is going to be a fun game. And I agree this is not only a winnable game, I think this is a game we should win. McNabb is gonna want to prove himself early and I think mentally he is gonna be one good hit or INT away from falling completely apart.

Personally I am tired of hearing about all these TOUGH D's we are gonna face. We have already faced plenty and aside from the Jet's we have played pretty good against all of them. This just like all of the games this year is going to come down to OUR D! We have scored enough points, the D needs to step up and our ST need to play ALOT better. But I am not worried about this game. I was worried about the Giants, and then before the game decided we would win. I was wrong, but they by no means controlled us.

My 3 points on this game.

1) Protect Kurt at all costs, no team in the NFL is better at pressuring the QB with a variety of looks and blitzes.

2) Don't punt to DeSean Jackson, kick away from him.

3) Don't fall asleep on DeSean Jackson at WR, we have given up a ton of big plays passing this year, Jackson has almost 700 yards receiving this year and I've seen at least 3 times this year where he was wide open deep and McNabb missed him. He's one one of the few guys in the NFL that can actually run with DRC, make sure you don't let him get behind you. He's very small and light, you have to muscle him off the LOS.

My 3 keys:
1) Don't turnover

2) Don't commit silly but devastating penalties

3) Don't let McNabb beat you

Agree Russ they really need to keep an eye on DJ he can make some big plays. I am not sure their D is as good as the Giants but they definately need to protect Kurt. Curious to see what the offense can do if the weather is bad. We also need to get some pressure on Mcnabb we can't let him stand back there all day as our secondary is still very questionable. Hopefully Clancy decides to bring it and force Mcnabb into some ill advised decisions. If we can jump on them early they really have nothing to play for and would probably fold.
