Just got home from the game, and...

.....a lot of Red in that stadium. I actually saw a guy in a Jim Hart jersey. Some St. Louis fans still remember.

Rams fans were pretty courteous as a group, much better than the neanderthals I usually have to deal with in Detroit. It probably helped that their team looked HORRIBLE and they had nothing to talk crap about.

I wonder how many old St. Louis Cardinals fans will be rooting for this team come January. With the team history and Kurt Warner at QB, rams road games are almost home games for us now. Heck I think we're 4-0 there the last 4 seasons IIRC.

Midway thru the 4th quarter that place looked empty, excepting the Cardinal faithful of course. It was all good today, except that dreadful first series from the Ram 2. Memo to Whis and Todd Haley: no more QB sneaks with Kurt Warner.

Agreed on the sneak. Not sure why we didn't throw one time down there.

Trying to make a statement early in the game. I thought for sure on 4th it was going to be play action fake. We've run the QB keeper with Warner before successfully with it on 4th down. Last year for sure at least twice.

Once at the end of the half instead of a FG iirc.

I thought it was going to be a jump ball to Fitz as he had man coverage.

Well you have to admit we had an element of surprise there. . .

However, it didn't surprise anyone on defense.

I NEVER like a QB sneak on 4th down. I would have rathered it on 3rd down.

So did Mike Singletary, but I'm not sure that was good idea either.
