Countdown until Mike Martz is quoted as saying "Shaun Hill might be the best quarterback I've ever coached," starts.... now.

That's Singletary's way of telling Martz, "You, sir, are a moron." Which, of course, he is. I wish they would've promoted Martz instead of MS to head coach.

You have to figure Martz pumped up JTO, in an attempt at Nolan's job.
:Scooby-doo villian voice: And I would have gotten away with too, if it weren't for that meddling ex-Bear.

Samurai Mike also sent Vernon Davis to the showers and went off on him in his post-game press conference.
I think the worst thing that the 9ers could have done to the Cardinals is fire Nolan and promote Singletary. He's going to turn that thing around.

Not right away. He'll need an offseason to set the team his way and get his own coaches.

hey --
at least the Cardinals know its Shaun Hill. Two games last year of film on him, plus the second half of today.
The worst would have been to expect JTO and get Shaun Hill.

Not this season. That team's imploding. Even if they weren't, they aren't going to win with Hill and O'Sullivan trying to run Martz's offense.
To top it off, their defense is playing horrible as well.

He has to be every bit as horrible, how else can you justify waiting this long to replace Just Turn Overs?
