On the screen pass touchdown, Reggie Wells threw a fantastic block. Also, on that play, Lofa Tatufu was blitzing untouched to the offense's right side and the screen pass was to the left side. Great play call or just lucky or most likely, a combination of the two.

How does he compare, in size, to Willie Parker? They seem to have very similar moves and I wonder if Whis is thinking that JJ can be our Willie.

It was basically trickeration on both TD's. AS has been discussed here we almost always throw with JJ in, especially from the gun, so when they did the inside handoff to JJ, there was no defense there at all.

Next time they were not expecting an inside screen like that(wasn't exactly in the middle so I won't call it a middle screen). They were still playing pass but they seemed to be looking outside and Wells made the perfect block and the middle was wide open.

Great scheme on both plays, JJ didn't have to do much to score on either play but hang on to the ball.

I actually liked the run that came back the most, the one where Anquan got called for a hold, JJ did a great job there of getting to the corner, the problem was it took a hold by Boldin to get the corner sealed.

TH had a couple of nice runs too. I still think a big issue is it's so much harder to run out of the shotgun.

JJ- 5'9" 214 lbs.
Willie- 5'10" 209 lbs.

With all of the WR support and the way the blocking looked vs. Seattle I really started to see hints of Pittsburgh.

I'm curious if the running game will remain situational or if they can start developing some kind of play action. I don't think it would disrupt things too much to have single back sets but please god don't bring back the stretch play.

I love the way Whiz is using Arrington on short screen passes with his blazing speed hes hard to catch, and I also love the fact were using Arrington on some draw plays which he is usefull ful. A combo of Arrington and Hightower will be very nice in the future .
