In week 13 last year...

The 7=3 Giants hosted the 4-6 Vikings. Manning threw 2 picks that were returned for td's and a 3rd that was returned inside their 10 yard line. The Vikings went on to rout the Giants 41-17.

We all know what has happen since then.

It happens. We want to be playing our best football at the end of the season. We now get 11 days to rest up and clear our minds. We head into the last quarter of the season with a 7-5 record. Three out of the last 4 are at home. This team will refocus and ironically could be crowned the NFC West Champs before we hit the field again.

Don't quit on this team now. Remember, not long ago things were way worse.

Thank you.

Good job.

And pray tell, what were the CARDS doing in week 13 last year?

I think the Card fans were in a heated NFL draft argument.

Yep, time to move on. Hopefully beating down St. Louis will be just what this team needs.

No.

Simply no.

You can't call someone out who sits through that crap.

I'm fully aware we're not terrible anymore, excuse the heck out of me for daring to suggest that with the talent we have that we should progress a bit faster?

Excuse me for enduring almost 40 years of the same tired crap and losing a gasket over seeing it rear it's head yet AGAIN!

I'd trade all this meaningless playoff talk for a team capable of going 500 in the NFC East because that team will probably eventually go somewhere.

I like Whiz, I'm hopefull but they just took a dump on my thoughts of this coaching team being the answer.

Excuse me if that's not disheartening.

Excuse me for daring to ask for a legit team, again, sorry, I should have been content to wallow in medicority and false hopes.

Thanks for sharing. Whew, I thought this loss was a bad thing. Nice to know we are going to win the superbowl.

Be honest...at the start of the season when the schedule came out, did you circle the Giants and the Eagles games as wins?
We played BAD the game was coached poorly and all that but we came off a short week after a tough loss to the world champions and then travelled 2300 miles..we will be ok lets not throw our teddies out of the pram now

Exactly. The comparison is ludicrous at best. I didn't realize we had a running game and an excruciatingly talented pass-rushing defense, like the Giants did last year. Man, I'm glad we have those!

I'm not saying we're going to win the Super Bowl but,at the time last year, Eli was a turnover machine and the Giants were going no where. There still 1/4 of the season left. Who knows what happens. The Cards will probably be the 3 seed and can spend the last week resting and getting healthy for the playoffs. I think at this point last year the Lions may have still been in the playoff picture .

I felt better after they showed that no west coast team has won a single east coast game this season........

That's the spirit!
One thing is for sure. it doesn't matter when our season eventually ends, unless we are hoisting up the Lombardi trophy there will be people on this forum that will want somebody fired.

The point I'm trying to make is that it's alright to be upset with a loss. It's alright to break down the who's what's and why's of just what happened. Just remember, nobody is as good as they think they are when things are going good, and nobody's as bad as some might think when things turn sour for a game or two.....except for the Lions.

Forty years, huh? Then you would be one guy I would expect to see things a little more even keeled. Cmon, CD. Surely you can remember when times were a lot worse then they are today. We might not be ready for a Super Bowl or Conference Championship, but we are certainly a far cry from the recent past.
Just about every team still in the hunt has layed an egg at one time or another this year including the Giants, Panthers, Cowboys , Colts, Eagles, Packers, Bears, and Vikings.
Trust me. I feel your frustration. We are going to the playoffs and we are entering the final quarter of our season. This team will reenergize with 4 days off and come back with a vengence.
