I am not buying we are not going after any big name FA's

We said the same thing last year and ended up signing Edge. I think that we will be agressive ealry with at least on FA. Especially since SF looks to be a big time player this offseason. I think we will sign between 5-7 FA's this year and here's who I think we will get:
Offense
O line
Big will be back and will be signed within 2 weeks of FA.
Jon Stinchcomb would also provide good depth at the tackle posistion and push to be a starter.
Floyd Womack would bolster us at the guard posistion and provide good depth. He's coming off an injury so maybe it would be eaiser to get him.
Daniel Graham is an excellent blocking TE and would provide great leadership/depth at a posistion it is desperatly needed. This posistion is crucial for Whiesnehunt's offense as Jerame Tuman and Heath Miller were heavily utilized by Big Ben. Is also a three time Superbowl champ and could provide leadership for the whole offense.
Defense
A. Thomas Whisenhunt knows him very well and I believe that we will pursue him hard especially since SF is in the market for him and Clements. We can't let SF get both.
Jarret Johnson also someone Whisenhunt knows. Is a high motor player and is still young. He could come in and pick up where Berry or Okefor leave off.
Roderick Hood would provide good depth at the CB posistion and could push to start. At the very least be an adequate backup.

I think we aren't going after any big names. That's mostly because there are almost no big names in this free agent class. Adalius Thomas and Nate Clements are probably the two biggest names, and there have been years that they wouldn't have been very close to the top of the list.

I think Roderick Hood could be a very worthwhile starter here.

Seriously, if their big "splashes" in Free Agency are Hood and Tony Pashos, I'll be a very happy camper.

I think we will be going after three big names:

LD
Adalius Thomas
Clements

Do we get any of them is another story...we should get at least 1.
