Good point. I have a friend who is the starting safety at Syracuse. Let's just say Robinson needs to go....
I cant believe they didn't fire him yet. It makes me sick. Dont be surprised to see the football program gone soon. The school brought in a liberal woman chancellor who wants to be rid of sports entirely and is currently doing her best to see that happen.
The lacrosse team is slowly but surely going down the drain. The only reason they are still any good is that upstate NY (along with Md) still has the best prospects. Many of these kids grew up idolizing the Gaits and Powells and such and dreamed of playing for the Orange. That generation is almost gone though now and I see them being nobodies in another 5-10yrs. Pro lacrosse doesn't pay well at all, and if you could get a free ride to schools like Hopkins, Princeton or Drexel then you almost have to take it.
Boehiem will be gone in another 5 yrs and the basketball program will die out shortly thereafter. I am already trying to find a new school. I hate it to be Maryland but am having trouble finding a good alternative.

The fact that Locker was the best running QB you saw all year speaks volumes about the Big 10. And doesn't it say something that Williams had his best day against you guys?
I'm just not a fan of running Qb's. I think you have to have a guy who can throw it moreso than run it.You can still win in college that way but to be a great team you have to throw the ball. That's why i'm not fans of Qb's like Pat White(i know someone will sya he completed about 70% of his passes but they do not pose a passing threat, they are a great running team),Vince Young,Tim Crouch, and Troy Smith. I like guys who can wing it like Leftwich could. He was probably my favorite college QB.Steve Bellisari,at OSU, was probably the guy i most despised as a QB in college. He could run but couldn't throw a lick. Smith and Young became better passers and that's why their teams improved. Btw,OSU shut down Vince Young on the ground when they played. He beat them with a last minute passing drive but, before that, they pretty much contained him and Pat White is no Vince Young. That game was early in the year so OSU had plenty of time to prepare and,i believe, held Texas to their lowest scoring of the year. But they still lost . That's why i'd have confidence they could shut down WVU and WVU doesn't have the defense Texas had that year.
As for Locker,i'm just going by the game i saw. In fact, early in the year he was pretty much on fire against everyone. I don't know if he regressed or teams adjusted to him but, early on, he was very good and he didn't have a whole lot of talent around him. Pat White is a better runner than Locker. The numbers bear that out. But in the OSU game, with limited talent around him, Locker played very well and was very impressive.I didn't really see him after that though.

Well your loyalties should stay in the Big East, plenty of room on the WVU bandwagon!
IN all honesty I cant believe robinson is still there too. That team was atrocious this year and outside of the one game (sorry Rivercard) they werent really even competitive. When will coaches like Callahan and Robinson learn NOT to force their offenses on teams that dont have the kids to run it?
For the Big East's sake, I sure hope you are wrong about the football program

How about Virginia. They always seem to have a pretty good team and produce some pro players. It's close enough that you could still be a fan of a team in the area. Stay away from OSU because you automatically will become a biased, know it all, jackhole . But their Bball program is going to be loaded for years to come as well. On that note, they have to be cheating somehow. They already have 3 of the top 10 players committed for the 2010 incoming class including the #1 overall in Deshawn Thomas.

Virginia, outside of this year, has been horrible. Al Groh was expected to be fired if they didnt produce this year.
Finally a statement I can agree with!

Total fraud. If you can't come up in a game against freaking Pitt when your team needs you, you shouldn't be talked about as 1st round pick. In fact, i bet he stays in school. He was the 4th best runner on that field Staurday night.
Cards could use a more physical running game (This suggests a smashmouth RB and/or possibly another legit road-grader on the O-line).
You can never have too many quality DB's.
Our TE play has been all but nonexistant.
Icing on the cake could be in the form of a game-breaking 4.2 return man.
Then there's the threat that free agency may turn a strong position unit into Jello.
That said - I think the Cardinals are at a point in their roster development where they should compile their list of the 32 best available players and simply take the remaining one who can best help us.
It's a philosophy we've generally followed for 5 or more years and it's generally worked for us.
Oh, and that doesn't factor in any free agent signings by us.

Mendenhall was injured in his first start vs the Ravens. During the week, Mendenhall had made some comments that provided the Ravens defense with motivation to keep him from having a big day. Turned out to be a very bad idea.
