I don't know. I mean, wasn't Tiki Barber a little guy, too? I just don't think that you can decide that a RB is "too small" to run in the NFL. That should be the least concern for teams rather than ability to reach the corner, or hold up to the pounding, or whether he's running through guys (as Dunn does) or around them (which is how J.J. Arrington got all those yards at Cal).
I haven't seen him play at all, and I doubt he's on the Cards' radar at this point. There are plenty of small guys who succeed in the NFL because they refuse to let that hold them back.

Barber was not a big guy but he was not little either @ 5-10 200lbs coming out of college.
I'll take Tressel over Miles coaching any day, and i'm not a Tressel fan. I don't know what it is but Tressel doesn't get the national respect. I believe he has the exact same record as the "great" Pete Carroll the last 5 years and this will be OSU's 3rd NC game in 5 years. Once OSU puts LSU away, and it may not even be close, maybe Tressel's record will be recognized for how good it has been.
I am just curious...
How can you not like Tressel?
Being originally from Pennsylvania and therefore a PSU homer, I am not a fan of the Buckeyes, but Jim Tressel is a very good coach and has done a fantastic job at OSU. You even state that in your post.
Again, what's not to like???

Tressel loses 1 bowl game and all of a sudden OSU has no chance.
The reason OSU isn't given much hope in this game has nothing to do with Tressel. It's because they looked mediocre all year while playing an absolutely dreadful schedule. Personally, I think they are fortunate to be playing LSU rather than WVU (assuming White is healthy) because they don't match up well against fast teams that can really spread the field.

I don't know, I hear lot's of respect for Tressel out here on the west coast.
The SEC has mastered the art of looking like a great conference while rarely playing a strong OOC opponent.

Actually, i was hoping to play WVU. I think Ohio State would've destroyed them. LSU is going to be a much tougher game. WVU is a one -dimensional team with no defense. The Buckeyes would have 5 weeks to prepeare to stop their one offfensive play.Plus, WVU can't stop any decent offensive team. I would have bet big money on an OSU romp. LSU is probably going to be a very close game because both defenses are so good. The place where OSU has the big advantage is Les Miles coaches LSU. It's like the old Bobby Knight quote when asked if he was worried being down alot to LSU in a NCAA game.Knight replied that he was worried until he looked down and saw Dale Brown on the bench coaching LSU. Indiana came back and won.

Really? I don't see why you'd be that confident. Illinois is really the only team they played this year with a speedy/slippery QB who runs a wide spread offense - we all know how that turned out. And the Illini defense isn't exactly a grizzly bear either.

Huh? You are making an ass of yourself. WVU's defense is ranked 7th in the NCAA in points allowed, 11th against the pass and 16th against the run. I dunno what you are smoking but try checking some facts, or actually watching some WVU games before you start spewing this crap...
Just be glad you arent playing them...now run along.

I guess i was wrong. I forgot WVU plays in the great Big East conference. I watch plenty of WVU games. They are one of the most overrated teams in the country. But keep spewing meaningless stats to tell me how great they are. If they were good, i'd give them credit. They are slightly above average. OSU,LSU,USC, Florida, UGA,Oklahoma would all thump them. The only reason WVU plays well, sometimes, against good team is because they are not taken seriously. They had to win 1 tough road game all year,USF, and got handled. If you can't beat the freaking University of South Florida or Pittsburgh,at home, then you are not a good team. At least the team OSU lost to is going to a BCS bowl game. The Big Easr are going to bowl games like the GMAC,Brut Sun,and International Bowls . Talk to me when they play in a real conference.

Thats rich coming from someone whose team is in the Big Ten conference. Shall I post the saggrin ratings or Elo chess ratings for you? You can bash the Big East all you want, fact remains they have a better bowl record, better out of conference win-loss record, and yes, tougher schedules than the Big Ten.
I am guessing 2-6 for the BiG Ten in bowls this year, including such toughies as the Motor City bowl, the Champs bowl, and the Alamo bowl.
But I guess OSU is used to playing in patsie games, since they realed off victories against such powerhouses as Akron, Youngstown state, Kent St, and Minnesota, ...yeah that should prepare you for the lambasting you will get with LSU.
