Green Pays Visit to Good Samaritan Hospital
Arizona Cardinals Head Coach Dennis Green
took time out of his busy schedule to make a surprise visit to Cardinals fan James Carter at Good Samaritan Hospital on Wednesday, January 28.
Carter, who was hit by a drunk driver in early January and is rehabilitating at the hospital, was delighted to receive the unexpected visit from the new head coach
“After the wreck, I have kind of been down just doing all the therapy and rehab,” said the middle linebacker and guard from Buckeye High School. “I have been watching Coach Green while growing up. Since he is with the Cardinals now, I am a fan.”
Green, who was joined by Director of Community Relations Luis Zendejas, was happy to be able to give Carter some motivation to get better.
“It is great to see Jimmy improving every day,” Green offered. “I am sure he is amazed by how much he is able to walk since he just got out of a wheelchair. It took courage of him to take that first step, His progress has improved over the past few days because now he is using his body, using all of his limbs.”
Green gave Carter an autographed football, pictures, hats, and a signed Cardinals t-shirt.
