This pic is hilarious:

Barr: Oh no! Godzilla is coming!

Rackers: Oh, the horror! I can't look!

If the NFL decided to have a some sort of competitive throwdown between its teams’ kickers and punters, the Cardinals would probably fare pretty well.

“We’d whoop everybody’s cakes, man,” Barr said with a smile.

I totally dig Barr...he's a really good punter and like the article says, his mentality fits here.

Interesting that he was a linebacker...I was thinking on the TV replay of the helmet-to-face bump that he was pretty strong looking...built solid for a punter I thought.

Didn't read the article but post game conference with Rackers on the game winning FG...

Same exact kick (yardage and hash) as the Chicago MNF miss.

Must have kicked 500 balls from the exact spot this offseason.

Right down the middle!

Having 11, instead of 10 tacklers on special teams, is definitely a plus!

Eh, Rackers would have never had the opprotunity if Dockett hadnt gotten the fumble and the Oline opened up the holes for Edge to run through.. Im aware Rackers had to make it, but cmon, he's a kicker for Gods sake..

I think the point of the article was to show that they aren't just kickers, that they want to be a part of the team by actively tackling opposing players. I liked the articles and am appreciative of what kicking brings to the table. It is often taken for granted. Given Rackers' last season, you wouldn't think so.

Nope, still just kickers.
