Freddie Jones = Biggest Liability on Offense
Here's my thinking:
You have a pass catching TE who can't block. You're running an offense that trys to exploit the spread running game and 3 wide receiver formations. If you're not going to include the TE as an integral part of your passing game, then you need one who can block, block and then block some more.
Last I checked, Freddie's resume doesn't include the word block in it...
Although I don't know much about the 2nd and 3rd string TEs on this team, it would seem to me that there must be one who can block better than Freddie. Thoughts?

Edwards is supposed to be our blocking TE, so in theory, he should be a much better blocker than Jones. But, I still say we should put a lineman in that spot.

If we had any linemen that could block, I'd agree with you.
I just don't understand the logic of having a guy you KNOW can't block, be responsible for blocking Peppers one on one, or some of the others Green has asked Freddie to block. Sure it would be great if he would block these guys, but he can't, so why design plays that require him to do so?

I don't understand why he is in the game. He cannot block. Okay so does he catch a lot of pass instead? Noooo. Maybe one per game? So what is the point of having him in the lineup? It's not like he get double covered either. Waist.

Who was the lineman that Mac played at TE few years ago? I remember he was a practice squad player that was activated to play TE.
