Eric Green injury was huge
After Eric Green went out with a groin injury, or entire defense played differently. Rolle had to move back to corner, and we were forced to play Celestin and Ware much more than we should have.
Draft Cason with the #10 pick in next year's draft.
That is all.

Glad we signed Rolle to that $100,000,000,000 (ASFN dollars) contract.

Wow. Celestin was absolutely lost out there. I agree we do not have the depth to survive injuries in our secondary. Wilson and Francisco were tough enough.

Gore would have not scored that late TD if Adrian where in there.
Battle would have not scored either if Adrian is in there.

He's worth it.
As a safety.
He simply can NOT play corner. Flagged for PI again. He is not a corner but he has the makings of a damn fine FS. Just do it already.

Rolle just can't play that 10-15 yard cushion style coverage. he improved when he moved to the nickel where he was playing more close physical style coverage. I was hoping the Cards would leave Rolle there and put Brown in at Green's spot.

That PI call did save a touchdown though. He was beat badly and held onto him. That should have been defensive holding and not PI IMO.

I just want to see this team really try to improve the corner depth. I mean really be agressive this time around. Don't just draft a rookie, but also sign a free agent. They could then try Rolle at safety and still be 4 deep with rookie, free agent, Hood, and Green. If they have to cut someone then so be it.
Won't happen but that's how I would do it.

We signed a FA this year, didn't do much.
Now, arguably our best corner is hurt, and will be a FA after this year.

That's what I didn't get about the Hood signing. They tried to upgrade the corner position by signing someones nickel corner(though he's behind two PBers) fine. But think of having that Charger CB everyone was pimping a couple of weeks back with someone like Cason/Green/Hood fighting for the second spot and Rolle at FS, and the secondary might actually be good.

ANd it was Rolle jumping the route that gave Battle his TD, he nearly had the pick but didn't and they scored on it.
Rolle is a safety.

Whis has spoken publicly about trying out Rolle at safety but said it was not possible thanks to the lack of depth at CB. This one falls on the front office.
