Enough !!!!!!!!

WELL DONE Big Red, ----- You all did enough today to get us to the point that we have been longing to get to. KW got us a nice lead-----The defense kept the Rams pretty well contained-----Leinart preserved a win.

We are 7 and 3 going into play the Titans. With the Niners, and the Hawks both losing, we now have a three and four game lead over them respectively. We have won 5 in a row on the road for the first time since 1947. I am extatic.

Everyone in the Big Red contributed enough today to make that happen. I was happy to see the defense containing Jackson for all but one play today. Way to step up big time with a big time/big game player. That hoss is a load, and you smothered him most of the game.

O-line, and Timmy and Beanie-----you guys had over a hundred yards rushing before the half. Great game-----and it was enough to get us a win.

Linebackers, (especially Hayes and Dansby), you guys were beasts out there today.

Receiving corps-----you got the job done,---well done.

Special teams, you kept us in good position to get a team win. Good job.

KW-----you ARE the man,-----enough said. Matt, you did your job well enough to preserve the win that the starters set on the table for you.

This may not have been the prettiest win we have ever had, but it was ENOUGH to place us where we need to be right now. This was a team win, AN ENTIRE TEAM WIN, AND IT WAS ENOUGH !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I remember one year when Jake Plummer led us out to a 4-2 record. Everyone was wondering if the Cards were indeed for real, and if we could make a real run.

I slammed the Cards--HARD--because they were playing like crap and yet pulling out victories. I was absolutely slammed on this board because I was being a downer and I was negative after victories, because supposedly it doesn't matter how you win, but that you win. Well, sorry to say I was correct and our team was a complete mirage. I could tell because the team I was watching on the field just isn't that good.

Today was COMPLETELY different. The team on the field today won ugly in the end, it's true, but that team is a DAMN GOOD team. Rather than being a bad team that pulled out a W, we are a good team that hung on for an ugly W. And I'm perfectly all right with that (as long as Warner's okay).

Bottom line? We're a good, tough team, and we're 7-3.

Leinart "preserved" a win? LOL

I'll give that accomplishment to the D.

No win is easy in this league. Especially on the road. Ask the Saints about the Rams. Check out today's games. Raiders and Chiefs win over Cincy and Pitt and the Broncos get killed. Any given Sunday....

The TEAM preserved the win.

Its a good thing Leinart didn't throw 5 picks like a couple weeks back or this board would have probably exploded

Bottom line, its a W

The D that allowed the Lambs to move at will, that gave up a completion to the 1 on 4th and 11?

The TEAM preserved the win and we held on where once we would have collapsed and lost. We're 7-3 and look good going forward (if Warner's healthy--I still have faith in Matt but we need Warner this year).

On a side note, why wasn't McFadden in there?

Today was the most confident I've felt during a close game in a long time. I was a little nervous, but I had faith that the defense would step up. I'm not sure if I've ever been able to say that.

We won and that's what really matters.

But in the category of things that don't matter as much, but still are worth pointing out -- Leinart "preserved' only his status as an underachieving high draft pick.

that's my take on the subject.

Knee contrusion... and we could see his value as well. Michael Adams had some issues.

The D was atrocious in the second half and only escaped by DRC not being flagged when he probably should have.
