Enjoy watching Hightower
Maybe he should thank the Cardinals? for firing him up by trading him...this guy is like man on a mission and he is a lot of fun to watch right now. This is not about the trade for me, because we drafted Williams and he got hurt. This post is about watching a football player, and dude is playing all out right now

I'd still rather have Timmy here. His blocking abilities would help...

Don't care. If I tracked every awesome player we let go or moved elsewhere I'd lose my freaking mind.

LOL. Hightower is "awesome" now? Okay. His 2.9 YPC tonight was truly awe-inspiring.

Agreed, he is being outplayed by Helu, but is getting the carries and starting role only because he hasn't screwed it up yet. I think Helu is the starter by the end of the year and THT is in the same exact position...not playing at an elite level, but doing enough to let him play on Sunday.

Watching yet another RB succeed after escaping the Cards and their perennially pathetic O-line is certainly amusing. However, Hightower played with no more enthusiasm or fire tonight than he ever showed with the Cards.
One difference is that he has not fumbled .
The major difference however, is that in Washington he is playing behind a much better O-line. One that, if you can imagine this, actually opens holes for their RB's!

Screw Hightower...cant believe he had the nerve to bash the players here. We gave him a good opportunity.
Anyone notice how he always gets pulled second half.... Its the reason we lost to Wash....he was gonna fumble and they knew it. He owes us a fumble!!!!!

It's all circumstantial. At the time I think it was the right thing to do (unless we could have gotten a good deal for Beanie), but given our RB situation now I most certainly regret the team trading him.

LOL They're already calling for Torrain to start and for Hightower to sit in Washington. And we're crying for him to come back?

Yes, really.
Any knowledgeable football fan knows that stats don't tell the whole story. Speaking of stats, the Cards have recently been last or very near it in rushing how many years now?
You almost always defend the Cards tooth and nail and I know that about you and respect it. In fact I think that attitude is needed amongst the majority of negative Cards fans, but...if you are trying to say that the Cards O-line is better than the Skins O-line you might be crazier than your name suggest (IMHO).
The interior of this line seems quite better and is opening more holes than usual, but that's about as far as I'll go. We'll just have to agree to disagree here my fellow fan.

Quality of the run game hasn't been a problem, it's due more to lack of rushes. Last year the Cardinals had by far the fewest rush attempts, 236 behind the leading team. YPC, however, ranks them in the top 10 teams.
Nice little stat from last year: our offense that couldn't run the ball had the same YPC that our defense who couldn't stop the run allowed.
