Doesn't Look good for Highsmith

http://www.azcardinals.com/blog/post...thor=1&id=1280

per Urban.

Sounds like he might be done for the season. One of those guys that is not missed until he is gone.

Good special teams guy.

I would imagine Chris Harrington coming up if Highsmith goes down.

Thats gonna hurt the coverage team. That guy is usually the first or second tackler down the field on kickoffs.

Harrington might have to come off the PS to fill in.

This quote I don't get at all:

"...Whisenhunt insisted TE Ben Patrick (knee) was ready to play except he was held out because he has not practiced enough"

Didn't they start a dude at tight end that they signed only a few days ago??? Talk about not practicing enough!

Am I the only one who sees "Highsmith" and thinks "Hightower"?

Gave me the chills.

Still, it's bad news.

Big loss on kickoff coverage units.

Chris Harrington is the logical replacement unless they bring back one of the veterans, Matt Stewart or Brandon Moore. If memory serves, Stewart was a good special teamer with the Falcons.

BTW, great news on Mike Gandy. I was not look forward to replacing him on Kurt's blind side.

I would think Harrington would be brought up. He did well on special teams in preseason.

Meh. Hes been ok on special teams had one or two big hits. But if I had to pick an injury for the team to not worry me a whole lot this one would be toward the top.
