I understand from a client of mine in Michigan that Jones is a lock to become the featured back over Bryson. Bryson is 28 and has the size (6'1" and 230 lbs.) that teams covet. He's a good blocker and a solid pass catching RB as well. I don't see him as a 1200 yd rusher but then again, I didn't see Shipp as such either.
Jones was not the most durable guy in college, also Mooch likes Bryson for a 3rd down or change of pace back also he is a pretty solid back up. Detroit will not trade him.

Mooch likes to use the platoon system and Kevin Jones will be sharing the backfield TB position with last years 4th round choice Artose Pinner. Pinner was the SEC player of the year in 2002 but broke his ankle in the shriner game or something like that and fell from a possible 1st or second round to the 4th. He is 5'08 235 pounds, not real fast or shift but will get you 4 or 5 yards a pop. He has played well enough in the preseason to keep Kevin Jones from winning the job outright.....Pinner is the man you ought to trade for.

Man I would trade for a grounds keeper at this point
