Darwin Walker

If I hear the name Darwin Walker on TV one more time, I'm gonna come unglued!

I want a name!.... Just the name of the coach who decided this guy sucked, and cut him in training camp!

He didn't even get to see the field for us.

I know this is old news, but it really sticks in my craw. It's not like we don't need D-Tackles or anything! Jeesh!

I hope, with Denny Green as our coach, we don't have these problems in the future.

I'm off my soap box now...

Ok, 473....here it is one more time. Darwin Walker was cut because he had a really bad attitude problem; he admitted that himself.

He didn't want to play for Arizona since he thought he should've been a much higher pick in the draft. So they obliged him.

Actually, they did want to resign him to the practice squad, but never got the chance. The sad truth is, he was badly outplayed by Mao Tosi and Jabari Issa that training camp and preseason, and we felt like we couldn't risk cutting one of them even though they were drafted later than Walker. Now, they are both out of the league.

In fact I remember him being interviewed after being cut and signed by the Eagles.

He basicly said that being cut was a major wake up call for him. He didn't believe it could happen. With better coaching maybe we can find a way to deliver the wake up call before we cut somebody.

I find it surprising to hear he used to have a bad work ethic.

He's a pretty smart dude, I hear--graduated with an engineering degree.

In fact, he owns an engineering company--

Maybe it was the heat that go to him.
