Actually, they did want to resign him to the practice squad, but never got the chance. The sad truth is, he was badly outplayed by Mao Tosi and Jabari Issa that training camp and preseason, and we felt like we couldn't risk cutting one of them even though they were drafted later than Walker. Now, they are both out of the league.

We live in a world which is full of misery and ignorance, and the plain duty of each and all of us is to try to make the little corner he can influence somewhat less miserable and somewhat less ignorant than it was before he entered it.
In fact I remember him being interviewed after being cut and signed by the Eagles.
He basicly said that being cut was a major wake up call for him. He didn't believe it could happen. With better coaching maybe we can find a way to deliver the wake up call before we cut somebody.
