Cool

Change of heart...

I used to think that even though we need a guy like SUGGS real bad, if a Leftwich fell to us we "HAD" to take him...

But I rescently have had a change of heart...

We have a descent QB in Blake to get us throught the next few years, and a Back up in Josh McCown that may or may not be "the guy" in a few years...

But we have TIME to find out if he is or not with Blake signed...

So, I have changed my mind and feel if Leftwich fell to us I would Trade that pick inorder to help us in the draft...

If we feel we need a QB next offseason there will be Eli(spelling) Manning available if we wanted him bad enough...

So I am officially OFF the fence and am now hoping for SUGGS 100%!!!

We need Pass rush and SUGGS will not only be are BEST chance at that. But he will also be a BIG PR move as well.... Lets go get him...

Manning

Will be a top 3 pick. Hopefully he WON'T be there for us to take him =)

If he is, then we screwed up major and should have taken our franchise QB.

I agree we shouldnt be there...

But, if we feel we NEED him then we could trade up to get him...

Hmm...

I really don't think anyone will be trading out of drafting Eli. He looks to be even better than his brother. In any event, the price will be outrageous.

That is, if anything, why I say if there is even a shred of doubt about McCown, now is the time to do so.

Franchise level QBs are very rare. They cost a ton to trade for. There certainly aren't any in free agency (witness the excitement over Plummer). Having one fall into your lap by circumstance is amazing.
