Challenging the play clock

Can you challenge a delay of game call? I think you can. I wonder why Whiz didn't challenge it on the horrible delay of game call that cost us a TD. I know we couldn't have gotten the TD since the whistle blew but we could've still had 4th and short instead of having to punt on 4th and 5. Coverting the 1st down there could still have led to a TD. Whiz said he knew there was 1 on the play clock because he would've called TO if he thought the clock was going to expire.

I was curious as to why the network didn't show a replay of the clock. It seems they've always replayed it.

They really didn't say a word about it. Just showed Warner was ticked.

Warner constantly comes close to using all the time.

There was one play when the Redskins had the ball where the clock froze at 1 second.

True home field advantage....I remember a dallas game where the playclock was frozen for 4 seconds to give the Cowboys another play

Warner needs to do a much better job managing the playclock is the bottom line.

When the offense lined up for that play I thought, "wow, that was quick." Needless to say, I was quite shocked when they called a delay of game penalty. Did the ref really wait for the clock to hit zero or did he throw the flag in anticipation?

It's really weird that they didn't show the play clock on that play and didn't show a replay with the clock at all. They normally do. After that they had the play clock up for most of the rest of the game. I got really nervous every time it got to 1.

The Fox crew never even mentioned it. Their sideline reporter said WHIS said something about it to her, but neither commentator bothered to follow up on it.

Also, did anyone else notice that when Albert gave the yardage on plays he always added a yard to the Skins and always took one away from us? It started to irritate me after a while.

I thought the same thing. I didn't. There was a wierd shadow around that play clock. It was at about 4 sec.

Trust me, I reviewed it thoroughly on my DVR. Very thoroughly.....but at least it let me fast forward through commercials.

That being said I wish I could see a replay of the play that Warner questioned. In game with such evenly matched teams that could have been huge.
