Can't sign a contract over a cell phone ..
I know what you are trying to say, but its always better to negotiate in person .. IMO

That would be a facsimilie of a signature .. not a "wet" signature that is required to make it a legal contract ...

They could reach an agreement in principle, and ink the actual K later. I still think Levi should be in the Phoenix area, though.

That's why many reports are "agrees to terms" instead of "signs".

You're totally right Cheesebeef. Can't blame the agents when this happens every year. The Cardinals are always so good at blowing up a season before it even starts. Just once I would like to see a Cardinal's FO committed to winning.

I can't say for sure, but he put Landry first and that is no good in my book ...

Could it be that getting a contract done with the Redskins is easier than it is with the Cardinals? It is possible the agent wants all his clients signed as soon as possible and if thats true he'd take the path of least resistance.

completely unnecessary for these types of negotiations. most are actually conducted via the phone. and the agent doesn't sign the contract. shockingly, i put the blame on the cards. they're the known factor with the poor track record . . . but at least that record is intact!

if the contract is signed and it's drafted in counterpart it doesn't matter. they CAN legally do it via facsimile.

Levi Brown will have no impact whatsoever on the Cardinals season. The Cards offensive line is set already.
Brown was drafted only because Davis left. So let him sit out. We won't miss him.
