Suddeness-Shock-and then the JOY of that moment. I felt relief that we had held, and immediately my mind raced ahead. Will Steve have a good return?? Will he fumble? Will his return get us in a position to win?? Will Neil hit the kick or miss it?? All these simultaneous thoughts raced thru my mind. ...And then... the TOTALLY UNEXPECTED!! PUNT BLOCKED!! CARDINALS RECOVER! CARDINALS WIN!! NEVER even imagined it! It all felt so surreal. What a priceless moment! GO CARDS!

You forgot to mention, this great feeling was completely smashed to pieces for a good 20 seconds while the word *FLAG* sat ominously in the corner of the screen. lol
Actually, the "flag" made it even more so....surreal
You just KNEW we were off-sides (Since no one appeared to jump we must've lined-up off-sides) ...OR Defensive holding which would've given the Cowboys a 1st down. BUT as I noticed that yellow box up in the corner I also noticed the players STILL celebrating about (10) seconds after the play. I didn't immediately recognize the official's signal when he gave it but with the Cards all jumping around I KNEW we'd WON!! What a moment!!

I figured we would get innto FG range for sure; then have to sweat out a Rackers attempt, with all the timeouts, kicker freezing, and refs discussing stuff for about 40 minutes, before we would see the result. Like you all that rushed into my head as the Cowboys ST were coming on to punt.
After watching the game it is truly amazing how screwed the Cards were by the officials during the first half. The fumble and 'THE TUCK' were just horrific.

The funny thing was those thoughts didn't go through my head. I turned to the guy next to me and said "Okay, now it's time to block the punt and score a touchdown!" Think I should be a playcaller?

At the game I turned to my neighbor and said, "Only in Arizona can the officials screw us like this in our own house." and watching the replay last night confirmed this statement.
Someone else already said this, but this game is a testament to the Cards mental toughness by not letting the unfair calls get into their heads.

Mike Sando of ESPN mentions on his blog that those two officiating blunders probably cost Darnell Dockett NFC defensive player of the week honors.
I want at least two make-good calls against the Carolina Panthers. But judging by the Carolina games I've seen over the years, John Fox must pay the officiating crews very well. He seems to get every close call and every benefit of the doubt and every challenge upheld. Don't look for any favors to the Cardinals in Charlotte.

The Cowboys fumbled the ball a stunning five times but only lost one: officials blew one, tuck rule un-did another, Eric Green whiffed on one, and the one was stripped from Romo in OT and miraculously bounced right back to him.
