Cards gan beat Jets with McCown at QB

He was not making stupid plays. Stats mean nothing when you are win. Ask Big Ben, he rarely passes for over 200 yards.

King had 300+ yards passing yesterday and we lost by 25. His turnovers costs the Cards 14+ points.

Put Josh back in!!!!

Didn't you notice that this is the first time the offense through the ball downfield. yeah king was not so great but whenever josh gets in trouble he always either takes the sack or throws to a te 1 yard up the field with no where to go. king hasn't sarted in a couple years, give him a chance.

Josh is very poor at looking for his check down receivers. He looks his primary target down the field and he lacks the vision to find another receiver. His only option is usually a RB or FB for a minimal gain.

If he could stop scripting his throws and check down to the 2nd and 3rd option he would have greater success

The reason Ben has those low totals is they get ahead, and then run. He has exactly 350 more passing yards in the first half than the 2nd, in 8 starts. That's about 44 yards more. If we were that good of a team to get ahead consistently, partly on Ben's play, then we'd run more and our passing yardage would be down too.

Good teams get ahead and run, all teh stats about w/l on 100 yard rushing days or 300 yard passing days are bass ackwards, they confuse the cause and effect. If they didn't, every NFL team would run the first 30 plays becaus they're almost guaranteed a win.

I agree King's turnovers killed us, but you can make the same logic in the Atlanta game and Josh didn't play that poorly again, hopefully King won't.

I don't think he's the long term answer, but I think he will at least try to get the ball downfield and that's what Green is looking for.

I tried

to watch king on most of his throws and imo, he does the same thing. He looks for one guy on each play. I had four pages of offensive notes but threw them away because I really don't want this to turn into something it should'nt
