The reason Ben has those low totals is they get ahead, and then run. He has exactly 350 more passing yards in the first half than the 2nd, in 8 starts. That's about 44 yards more. If we were that good of a team to get ahead consistently, partly on Ben's play, then we'd run more and our passing yardage would be down too.
Good teams get ahead and run, all teh stats about w/l on 100 yard rushing days or 300 yard passing days are bass ackwards, they confuse the cause and effect. If they didn't, every
NFL team would run the first 30 plays becaus they're almost guaranteed a win.
I agree King's turnovers killed us, but you can make the same logic in the Atlanta game and Josh didn't play that poorly again, hopefully King won't.
I don't think he's the long term answer, but I think he will at least try to get the ball downfield and that's what Green is looking for.
