Cards are going South

The South Florida Dolphin scene is so dead, that talk show here already brought up next years schedule. Holy Crap Batman, the Cards are coming to town. The last time that happened was back in the 80's. I don't have the date, but I will be there with my antique Cards beak bill hat on my head. Go Big Red. This will be the only home Dolphin game where half the stadium will not be rooting for the Visitors.

Depending on the date (which we won't know until April), I may be there with you in sunny Joe Robbie to root on the Cards to their first ever victory over the Fish.

Actually, that would be the stadium formerly known as Joe Robbie Stadium. I don't think it has a name any more. It was Pro Player Park, but that sponsor went bankrupt and is out of biz. So now we fondly call it Pee Pee Park. If you go we should hook up. Strength in numbers , you know.

I really can't imagine anyone besides you & me , rooting for the Cards.

Ya never know Wally. Maybe by that time the Cards will be 6 and 0 and bandwagon fans will be coming out of the wood work.

I knew they changed the name to Pro Player Park, but I will always call it Joe Robbie. Just like I'll always call the arena the Celtics and Bruins play in the Boston Garden (never Fleet Center), the place the Bills play Rich Stadium, and the Donkey's stadium Mile High. Call me old fashioned.

Seeing as Denver is in a new stadium, does that mean that you'll call the Cards new nest "Sun Devil Stadium"?

Go Cards!!!

Good question! LOL!

Nah, I guess I'll bow to tradition and use the new name...unless it's something that's too wordy like Qwest Field at Glendale Crossing (or something similarly stupid).

You know the new name for the stadium will be Anquan Boldin stadium. How can anyone argue the point.

Yep. I was just gettin' ready to mention that Wiz. Jake threw an interception to end the game after driving to midfield If I remember correctly.

He also threw one in the endzone that day.
