The Cardinals have been viewed as a fine passing team with a questionable running game and an inconsistent defense. They have also been known to struggle on the road. At least until last week, when they put up 34 points at St. Louis and introduced their new starting running back, Tim Hightower. I talk with coach Ken Whisenhunt every week, and he has been high on Hightower since he arrived in Arizona from the University of Richmond. Throw out the Cardinals' No. 29 rushing ranking, Hightower's 22 carries for 109 yards demonstrated that the Cardinals have a guy with big-run capabilities. A balanced Arizona offense, along with a defense ranked sixth in sacks, makes these guys Super Bowl contenders.
