Cardinals Offseason: Anything Else ?

I would imagine we will sign a OLB, and MAYBE a DE before camp begins.

Personally I am fine with Haggans and Holliday, and fill the rest of the roster with UDFA.

Oh yeah, and of course sign Calias Campbell at some point

We need to go to Punters R Us and buy a couple of good ones - right after we re-sign Calais. Anything above that is gravy. I like gravy.

punter would be nice. Personally I am satisfied with every position minus Kolb. I like Skelton. I like the WR core. Love the TE group. The ol is good enough. Dline is awesome. Linebackers are all solid. Lots of good CBs and a super solid safety tandem. Bring ont he season.

I am just wondering if they are going to bring in any RBs.

Holes to fill?

We need to sign Clark Haggens to give us depth at OLB.

We need to re-sign Calais Campbell.

Consistency of our QBs and a lack of a pass rush will be this teams largest hurdles to overcome.

To be fair, a lot of teams have those two hurdles.

And, yes, I understand that one of the hurdles could have been addressed with the #13 pick.

Man, I'd really like to sign an experience tackle to compete with Bridges and Massie. I know that people here love Bobby Massie, but he was a fourth-round pick, and the Cards didn't have him rated highly enough to take him earlier.

There are some one-year stopgaps that can be signed to minimum-salary contracts out there. The Cards didn't like Bridges enough as a starter to throw him in there when Keith was clearly struggling, and Keith was so bad that he might be out of the NFL now.

Was it because they didn't like Bridges or instead were they being pig headed in sticking with Keith trying to prove they made the right choice in making him the Right Tackle?

Bridges is in the last year of a 3 year deal and is scheduled to make 1.725 million according to sportrac so he better play well or he could be replaced by a cheaper Tackle.

Aren't these the same thing?

FWIW, I think that the Cards were being pig-headed, but that Bridges maybe isn't as good at RT as he is at LT. By that I mean that the Cards could protect him at LT when Levi's on the right with a tight end and a chipping RB (this is why he looked good against the Vikes a few years ago. But at RT on an island because Levi is getting the help, Bridges isn't that good.

I really don't know. Bridges has played most of his career on the right side of the offensive line.

I'm all for a punter and the cheerleaders to come out in thongs and get fined and promise "not to ever do it again"

Not the same thing at all. I've seen coaches in almost every sport at every level play someone ahead of someone else longer than they should because they made an initial choice and were too pig headed to make a change even when it was evident their player wasn't doing a better job than the one next on the depth chart.

I'd like to kick the tires on OT Kareem McKenzie for a couple seasons.

Isn't Donnie Jones available after the Rams drafted a P?
