FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Wednesday, August 3, 2005
Tempe, AZ – The Arizona Cardinals Football Club
is offering pilots the opportunity to participate in the second annual “Arizona Cardinals Fly In” on Friday-Saturday, August 5-6 in Prescott, Arizona.
The participants will get to watch the Cardinals Mock Game at 10 a.m. and then take part in a free FAA aviation safety seminar on Saturday at noon. As part of the $195 gridiron package, pilots will also receive lodging at the Springhill Marriott, an Arizona Cardinals gift, and an invitation to a Cardinals meet and greet reception at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
The money raised will benefit the “Flying Samaritans” patient care committee through Cardinals Charities. The “Flying Samaritans” is a non-profit organization that includes 10 chapters which operate approximately 16 clinics in Baja Mexico. The committee raises funds to assist patients with special needs that normal visits to the clinic can’t address.
