Cardinals | Might have interest in Kamerion Wimbley
Cardinals | Might have interest in Kamerion Wimbley

The Arizona Cardinals might have an interest in Oakland Raiders LB Kamerion Wimbley if he is released this offseason. The Cardinals had interest in him before the Cleveland Browns traded him to the Raiders March 2010.

Thats just writer speculation based on previous interest. Nothing from the Card's expressing interest, unless you think they tampered and then told a writer about it.

I got it !!
Would be cool if fans sang songs for players like that... think that could be a different thread.
I'd love Wimbley on the roster...he would make an impact straightaway.

The 06 draft was stacked with talent at LB. The funny thing is that none of these guys are superstars. All of them are solid, productive, efficient. They are all basically the same dude.
Demeco ryans
Dqwell jackson
AJ Hawk
Ernie sims
Stephen Tulloch
chad Greenway
Manny Lawson
chris gocong
omar gaither
Wimbley
Ill take him but im not expecting anything special.

You're right, except all the bolded guys suck and the rest are just average. A.J. Hawk was like the 5th pick in the NFL draft!

What happened to Ernie Sims? I thought he was playing lights out for Detroit his first couple of years? He just dropped off the NFL map. Did he get hurt and never really recover?

I was hoping the Cards could somehow get a 2nd rounder back and pickup Vinny Curry from Marshall but Wimbley would do.

They could, you know, also make an announcement to the media without tampering at all.

I think he had an issue with concussions.
