The Cards are a good team this year. They're not unbeatable by other good teams.
While we all know this team isnt going to go 16-0, I think it is justifiable that people are a little upset about the game. To call the Redskins good is kind of premature at this point. Did they play a good football game?? Yeah, but remember this offense was anemic against a Giants D with no Osi..They just picked apart our supposedly rebuffed D. A lot of this has to do with the lack of adjustments from Pendy. But, ultimately, I think the Cards were just out coached today and didnt come up with a good game plan and the Redskins did.. I think that's what got me, the spotty play calling on both sides of the ball for the Cards.

Cards have won 18 games at Washington and lost 44. As I posted in 82's thread even Don Coryell couldn't win there going 1-4.

The first game was played in 1937. Cards won in DC 21-14.

Best stretch for the Cards was from 1960-67 when the Cards won 6 times.

BTW: How many of you knew that the Cards used to be in the same division as Cleveland and Pittsburgh back in the late 60's? The old NFL Century Division.

I guess you should have read the rest of the thread since it pretty much says what you are saying above.

too bad that you are so cranky that you missed it.

And no, I do not expect the Cardinals to go 16-0. But we certainly didn't bring our A-game today. The Cardinals can play better defense, call better plays, pass more effeciently, and be more discpline than they were today.

This is the second time they have gone to Washington and played sub-par/poorly. Thus lay an egg, but if that is the wrong phrase to use for such a situation I apologize for my lack of languistic knowledge.

A bounce of a ball here, and extra yard there and we still could have come out with a win. And I agree 100% with you on the fact that if this game is played 10 times we would win 5. Thus I say it just wasn't our day today.

As I said....I am very interested on what happens next week against the Jets. I will give us even more insight about where our team is right now.

I have no doubt we woulda, coulda, shoulda won that game.

The Redskins were no better or worse than the Cardinals.

Penalties, bad bounces, dropped passes, missed INT oppoutunities, missed tackles, bad play calls, etc, etc.

Our turnovers absolutely KILLED us, and our defense brought little to the table.

The difference in the game today was effort. Washington gave a good effort and our team as a whole gave a sub-par effort.

Just not our day today. Learn, and get ready for the Jets is really all I can say about today.
Did you write that today or after last years Redskin game? Today I couldn't tell much difference between this and the 2007 team.

Thus why I said..."another" in the title.

But no biggie. There is A LOT of football to go. Look around the league this week. It was a crazy weekend of NFL football to say the least.
