Cardinals draft Bruce Eugene - QB

If the Arizona Cardinals dont pick in the first round Vince Young or Jay Cutler expect them to spend a 5th or 6th rounder on this flyer.

Ok what makes this guy so different you ask?

He is 6'1 300lbs and broke every conceivable record in the NCAA record book last season. Grambling State he got no press but he passed for 56 touchdowns to 6 interceptions in 2005.

He has been in Phoenix alot preparing for the draft and dont think the local scouts for the Cardinals werent on hand for his private workout.

This is his 2nd trip to Phoenix, the first was to help him get down in weight around 260lbs. He may or may not be in Phoenix for the draft, but if he is dont be surprised if he isnt wearing a Cardinal uniform.

The unique thing is Bruce may find himself as the biggest most athletic fullback at goalline situations in the NFL.

Your worried about his mobility 5.1 (40yd), but understand he has always played at this size and rushed for nearly 1200 yds at Grambling.

ITs a flyer of a pick but the fact he could be used in a different manor may cause this player to be picked by the Az Cardinals

I personally went on a limb earlier saying we draft the Oregon State kid Derek Anderson in the 5th or 6th either would be worth it

Dont know if he can be even that. He ran slower then a lot of the OL and DL with a combine 40 time of 5.12.

He is at 260 cause he is on a weight loss program to get drafted. He played his senior year at 291.
