I'm putting this game behind me. We lost. We did not play well. When you lose you can point out 10 different things as to why.
Let's get over it.
We need to play better and we need to bet the Jets next week. Do that and we will be 3-1 in September, in first place and in control of our own destiny.
This team is better than it played today. They said we beat nobody yet. However those nobody's have gone on to win there 3 games after playing us with Seattle and New England being 2 of their victims.
In the NFL anybody is capable of beating anybody. Well, maybe not the Rams or KC.
Don't qiut on this team now gang. Let's move on.

Tough losing a game like that when victory was close at hand... kinda. The Jets are certainly beatable and it would be awesome to come home with a win and a split on the road trip.
I'll be happy if we finish the month 3-1. This loss has me fuming but expecting to start 4-0 or even 3-0 is asking a lot. Record wise, we're tied with teams like the Eagles and Patriots and have more wins that the Colts, Chargers and Jaguars. It'll be a few more weeks before we can accurately judge this team.

the cards really need this one bad. I am not impressed one bit with the jets thus far. they were had some good fortune in beating the phins. the cards are better than this team IMO. they have to win this game.
I'm already over the Redskin loss. We got beat by a good team on the road by a touchdown. Big deal. We're 1-0 at home and 1-1 on the road. We're leading the division and we'll beat the Jets on Sunday. We have a great offense and a fast, aggressive defense. Put down the knife and relax. This is going to be a great season to be a Cardinal fan.
By the way, how great is it that the Dolphins crushed the Patriots?
We can't play defense against Favre like we did against the Skins today, we have to get in his face.
Yeah, he'll turn the ball over if we can put some licks on him. If we win the turnover battle, we'll win that game. If we don't, we'll lose.
We need to shuffle up our blitzes a bit. Most of our blitzes today resulted in guys running straight into blockers. That tells me offenses are reading our formations, and identifying where the blitz is coming from, too easily.

We will not win if our defense plays like today. Imagine what Farve will do if we allow him all the time and space like we did to Campbell. We need to have some pass rush, somehow, some way.
In last two games we have had just 3 sacks (I'm not counting the one today where Campbell slipped and was lying there for several seconds until Berry came and touched him) and ZERO turnovers. Today we hardly had any pressure on the QB. The defense did not play much in the second half of SF game thanks to our offense eating up all the clock. I'm just concerned with this defense.
