I agree with you Shane. I did not feel like a sucker when there was a flexpack and really only a slim hope at a decent team but with high expectations and full season tickets only to get kicked in the teeth by a team under the salary cap with a World Class stadium to play in makes me feel like a huge sucker. I do not mind as the tailgates have been great but this team has to Win some games for most of the peeps to not want to sell the tickets. Like this Bear game I could get $200 too $300 a ticket for my lower level seats (Not Selling!!!) and there are plenty getting more than that. The Steeler fans sitting in front of us have sold every other game other than the Preseason game with the World Champs. I do not know about any one else but I do not want to sit in the stadium surrounded by the other teams fans every week (like Sundevil) and the only thing that will fix that is consistant WINNING. I would rather sell my tickets and sit in the parking lot and TAILGATE the game away then be surround by obnoxious fans from Green Bay or KC or Chicago....this week will be the worse of all.

Rats: I mentioned this on Sunday....but we will lose our home field advantage against the Bears. Every bear fan from Southern California and Arizona seem to be trying to get tickets....the bears do not make it out this way much...and they are obviously on a roll - so the bandwagon is rolling....In addition..the prices they are willing to pay are very high..and the locals know traffic will be awful for a Monday night game (rush hour mess mixed in - remember the Denver preseason game..traffic was horrible).

I think bears and cowboys fans may outnumber cards fans...which completely sucks. I hate being surrounded by the enemy..it was not that bad so far...but wait until Monday. It will be awful.....obviously..this would not be happening if we were like 3-2..so winning cures all...

Did he really say that? I guess I now feel sorry for him. He knows his sports, but calling us “suckers” is way below where I thought he was.

To us, Sunday is all about football. My kids have a blast tailgating every other week. We go to bed early on Saturday night, so we can get up early and get everything ready for Sunday. We get the car packed and then play catch in our street for about 15 minutes. Then we meet our tailgate crew and head to that game. Then we tailgate for about 4 hours (having a lot of fun watching the early game, playing catch, eating, drinking, etc.).

Maybe he’s just a lonely old man?
