Haven't seen this posted anywhere, so I'll chime in with it. CBS pregame show had Bill Cowher presenting his top 12 wide receivers.
Larry Fitzgerald came in at #2 right behind the Texans' Andre Johnson. I'm not sure if that played any part in "jinxing" Fitz into his first two drops of the season in the first half.
Interestingly enough,
Anquan Boldin was one of three receivers falling just outside the top 12 and getting "honorable mention." Needless to say there was a lot of disagreement with Cowhers' list and Shannon Sharpe was quick to say that Anquan should be on the list in place of Cowhers' "homer" selection of Hines Ward. Besides Q, Lee Evans was also left off the list. Meanwhile, the second-most questioned selection was Terrill Owens, the same guy who apparently had gone 11 games without a 100-yard receiving effort.
