Ok Nidan that is pretty mean.... funny and called for but still pretty mean...
BTW making judgements about any player after one preseason and 2 NFL games is a little suspect in the first place.
I think the kid has talent and showed it on the field.. Nice guy when they interviewed him he seems to be a very unassuming kid and really refreshing as a change from Mr. I celebrate td's when losing by more than two touchdowns..

he has one good game and all of a sudden he has "good" hands. Good game - he can be said to have "good" hands when he does this consistently.

Till he makes a tough catch I still give him a C hands wise.
But he showed me some great speed, strength, and know how this week.

The one thing, besides not knowing where to lineup, that concerns me with him is it does seem his patterns are still "in the area" instead of sharp. This is the kind of thing that leads to TO's because the WR isn't where the Qb expects it. The odd thing is I believe 3 of the 4 picks Blake has thrown were thrown to Boldin who runs better patterns. 2 Blake put him in a situation where he was going to get hit, one it looked like BLake just missed him. The 4th of course Gilmore ran teh wrong pattern against Detroit and Bly scored on it.
Johnson is getting by on pure talent but he's growing game by game, I can't wait to see this kid in week 10 or so.

Notice the , I wasn't totaly suggesting this as a proven fact.
It's just that my friend and good buddy Skorp has been ragging on BJ for a few weeks, so I thought I'd rag on Skorp a bit.
All in good fun guys.

It's pretty clear to me Bryant Johnson had neither the necessary confidence nor the playbook knowledge to start for the Cardinals.
In the last two weeks he has grown tremendously as a player and a pro. That meltdown two weeks ago may have embarrassed him enough to work harder.
Bryant Johnson obviously has upside but now he has to show it on the road in front of a hostile crowd. Then I'll believe.

The problem is is that we are comparing him to Anquan and as all of us know, everyone pales in comparision to Anquan.
BJ had a good game and will continue to improve. With these two, this offense is really going to start to "rock and roll"

Section 11 told me he has a B Johnson football card that says on the back "Has good hands."
That's enough for me.

I think Sully deserves alot of credit as does Tolbert....They have young talented recievers playing a pivitol role and they are performing...some bad patterns here and there but...still getting results...that is something that doesn't always happen with young wideouts...props to the coaches and the players...

I don't want over do the koolaide on the BJ bandwagon but..
Bryant Johnson has only 2 less receptions than Randy Moss, and BJ has only started 2 games!!!!!
