Eh, I don't get too upset about the name thing. 53 players per team and 45 dressed each weak. With 32 teams that's 1440 names to call each week. It's easy to slip up and say the wrong name while trying to keep up with play.

What you really wonder is don't these guys get embarrassed about how they come across as not knowing what they are talking about when they say the things they say.

Nope, these guys know ahead of time what game they will be calling. Regardless, it's their job to know the players names. They get paid very well to do it and the task really shouldn't be so difficult.
