Anquan Boldin status...
What is Anquan's status as of today? This is a trend that doesn't seem to go away, ha.
It would be awesome to have Fitz, Q, Breaston and Early on Saturday with Q used in limited situations.

I don't think he will play. It took Polamalu 3 weeks to come back from an MCL sprain. Compound the fact that he has a high ankle sprain to boot and I just don't see him playing. The mere fact that he didn't even warm up for the last game tells a lot.

We don't need to waste one play with a decoy.Even tho no other human on earth heals as fast and can block out pain like the Q.Early needs every rep and package he can get this short week Doucet has to be MAJOR fresh for the finish of this SB run'he's missed most of the season but took every rep for Q all season long when he or Breaston did'nt practice.Sunday IT SHOWED BIGTIME!!!

Although we may all agree that it was Early's coming out party last game, don't forget he went to LSU and he may be even more fired up seeing how this is his homecoming game.
I wonder how many tackles he can break this week.

I'm not as concerned about the MCL sprain as I am with the High Ankle sprain. Those types of injuries just take time to heal. I'd rather have Anquan sit out another game than have him out on the field and unable to make cut or get any kind of separation.

Not buying it. They had Q listed as out by 9:30 am per ESPN. Unless I'm mistaken I'm almost positive they don't come out and do warm up's 5 hours prior to game time? In the Bears game when they showed him tring to warm up and give it a go there were already fans in the stands. NFL policy says you can't open gates till 2 hours prior. JMO.

Hopes to practice!
Q told Kent Somers his ankle and knee have improved and that he hopes to practice this week. I pity the fool who tries to take his equipment out of his locker this Saturday.

He told Darren Urban he's "a lot better."

Adam Schefter reported this morning that he's hearing Boldin is probably going to play against the Saints.

That is not even my favorite part though:

apparently they do not know who Steve Breaston is...
EDIT: apparently this was written by an actual news source NOLA.com.. James Varney of the The Times-Picayune! high comedy.. I thought it was bad enough when I was under the assumption it was some dude at his house...
Who the hell runs that newpaper, and lets facts like that go out...
WOW... just wow..

Just hope Q's desire to be part of the TEAMS SUPERBOWL run does'nt mess with the very LIMITED reps in a short week & its chemistry. He knows he provides a boost in the team when he is successfull. He's a team leader but can he get enough seperation and not be focusing on his leg pain to get stripped by the wiley vet in the saints defensive backfield.
Its a tough call for the coach to take probably J.Urbans with an h',place on the active roster.
What % health do you activate him?BIG decision for coach Whiz.
