Adrian Wilson is bar none the most important player on the team and I will go toe to toe with anyone who disagrees - there is no more of a dramatic difference then when he plays and when he doesn't. Theres a reason guys like Rod Hood, Eric Green, and Antrell Rolle all of a sudden look like competent players that can shut down the likes of the Dallas passing attack.

His name is Adrian Wilson. I haven't rewatched that play but if he did I forgive him. Whatever this guy wants pay him because he holds that entire unit together.

I love me some ADUB.

A screen pass went 70 yards in the 4th when we were in Prevent..

To blame one guy proves what an unbelievable noob you are. Congrats you've been crowned.

Every time some team makes a big play against us late, some fans knee-jerk opine the mantra that we were in a prevent. It's a good whine but it's fiction. Barber went for 70+ yards because of several missed tackles and several players giving up pursuit wrongly assuming the guy woulds be tackled and because Barber made a superior effort.

Just before halftime, we did go to a 3 man rush prevent at the worst time and paid for it.

Welcome to ASFN, BBB, but insulting someone who disagrees with you is not a good start.

lol, first of all, that was hardly an insult. I thought it was playful banter.

Second of all, we were in a Prevent. 3 man rush with 8 guys dropped wayyy back in coverage, that's called a prevent my friend.

Everyone on that play was lazy in their pursuit of MB, that's why he took it to the house. To call A-Dub out for "dogging it", that to me is not a good start, middle or finish.

That's my opinion, deal with it. I may be new to this site, but I'm not new to the Cardinals. You gain nothing by calling me out and calling me a "knee jerk fan". Watch the play again, why not call out one of the other 10 guys on the D?

noob? didnt know i was in discussion with a world of warcraft nerd...

I love Adrian Wilson and Darnell Dockett, but if you cant finish a play because of an injury get off the field at that point in the game.

i dont know who bumped this thread but the only reason i pointed out AW is because he is supposed to be a leader on this team. Yes there was plenty wrong- Dansby weak tackle effort, DD not pursuing, AW not pursuing, and Rolle messing up his pursuit angle...

I just think for our team to become winners they have to close games out, and leaders, such as Boldin, Warner, Fitz, Edge, AW, Dockett and Berry should step up and lead by example. We are still a long way from being a GREAT team. The talents there, but the talent has been there the last few seasons. They need to put it all out on the field.

lol, jeez you guys are so sensitive on this site!

I'm sorry I called you a noob, please forgive. I dont play warcraft, I thought that was acceptable internet forum banter. I will try to adhere to a strict vocab from now on.

Other than that I think your retort is pretty comprehensive. Point well taken, I just think you could have chosen your words in the tread title a little better. Where I come from, someone saying that you 'dogged' it on a play is a pretty big insult that isn't applied to a guy that is clearly the heartbeat of our Defense.

*peace!

Hey BBB, welcome to the site!

There's a reason that ASFN is the best sports message board. It's because we respect one another and don't tolerate otherwise.

Your comments were fine, and would have been taken as such once you establish a little history here. But, newcomer's are watched a bit more closely; it helps regulate the trolls.

Again welcome; as part of ASFN standard protocol, 's buy...

So I''ll take a machaca burrito with eggs and potatoes, don't spare the hot picante, and an Irish coffee!
