A-Dub. PacMan. Double Standard

Anyone else bothered by the league fine (and threat of future suspension) stemming from Adrian Wilson's hit on Trent Edwards - one that, in my opinion, did not involve helmet-to-helmet nor look as if Adrian was deliberately driving Edwards into the ground?

Any one notice the irony of Wilson being fined, and PacMan being given a pass by the league - despite being told previously by Goodell that "he was on a short leash"?

Anyone feel that, if PacMan were a Cardinal and A-Dub was a member of Team Felon, that A-Dub would not even been an issue and PacMan would be suspended?

America's Team. Arizona's Team. Jerry Jones. The Bidwills.

The League Office is far from being fair and balanced. Never has been.

I disagree with this premise. Initial contact was clean, but unnecessary roughness ensued.

I disagree that Pacman is getting a free pass. I think Goodell is making sure he has all the facts before he acts since this could put Pacman out of the league for good. Goodell is smart enough to not put the league at risk and if he suspended Pacman for just having his name in the news, that could cause a lawsuit. I have no issue that they are taking their time since there are some obvious cover ups. Also, if Jerry proves to be part of the cover up, taking away the Super Bowl from the new stadium would be great justice.

Also, you do realize that what Goodell does still effects the Titans since if Pacman is suspended, the Titans owe a draft pick to Dallas, so you can look at it as Goodell is also ensuring that the Titans are not getting screwed here.

No double standard.

Difference between the two. They have video evidence of Wilsons hit. No one even knows what time the Jones incident happened, thats how little info they have of the incident. You have to do your due dilligence in that case.

Dallas players have been fined, penalized, or suspended more then any other team in the league over the last 3 years. The league made a new rule special for just one of their players.

I dont know I just dont buy into the woe is us they are all out to get us thing anymore.

The Pacman thing has been blown out of proportion this time. He got in a little fight with his own body guard, no charges were pressed. I would have thought it extreme if any player got in trouble in that situation. If it wasn't Pacman but just an ordinary player we wouldn't have even heard about this IMO. As fir ADub, that was an iffy call, but I have seen that happen to many players not just Cards players.

If Pacman misses any games because of a suspension, the Titans owe a 5th round draft pick to the Cowboys. If Pacman does not miss any games due to a suspension, the Cowboys owe the Titans a 7th round pick.
