On a play where the Giants scored a TD, the offense was set and 2 players that where wide left motioned at the same time. One of them hurried to get reset and then the ball was hiked and Eli threw a TD pass. Whoever was playing RDE for the Cards tried to point it out but reacted to the ball being snapped. I thought it was an obvious illegal procedure call but no flag was thrown.
Then there was that long pass play that set up another TD. The receiver pushed off on Green several times before he caught the ball. Green complained to the official but again no flag.
I thought both of these were obvious and were right in front of officials. Both were calls that would normally be called against the Cards. Am I wrong? I was going to look my recording of it but for some reason it wasn't there.

I don't remember seeing anything on the long pass but the motion play, it appeared to me that they both clearly stopped, set and held for a good second. I'm not sure if they were set before they both went into motion initially though. If both were set and then they both went in motion, I thought that was an automatic penalty but admit that I'm not sure. If all they had to do was re-set, then I think they accomplished it.

The Giants set themselves up to win with their superior (or the Cardinals inferior) special teams play. I don't think two penalties would have kept many more points off the board.
I thought the Giants got a very generous spot on their 4th down gamble. It appeared to me that he didn't make it and that would have made a big difference in the game. Even Calais Campbell was trying to point it out to the ref. I'm surprised Whiz never went for the challenge.

the two men moving was bad. me and several others in our section were yelling for it -- too obvious
the push off wasnt much of one -- that is a call that goes against the offense maybe 5% of the time
not to jerk the thread off kilter -- but I have one more question / homework assignment for those with the game on DVR.
in the 4th quarter, Manning threw a TD pass to Kevin Boss. Watching it on tape -- here is what I noticed:
Brian Robinson (#97) actually tips the ball just a hair -- which causes is to flutter high --- right over the hands of Gerald Hayes who was sitting in the zone (Manning couldnt have seen him) and on to Boss. No tipped ball -- I think Hayes intercepts the pass. Its tough to see, so I was hoping a couple more people could take a look at it as well ---

oh well, its truly a game of inches
FOX said the 2 players reset and therefore it wasn't illegal motion. They said that's why Eli waited to snap the ball, he wanted them both to be set first.
Robinson definitely tipped the pass, hard to say it Gerald would have picked it or not from the angles we got on TV.

looking at the replay, Hayes hands go up to get the ball, and it appears that it just goes over his finger tips --
at the game, I thought at first that the ball was intercepted based on how Hayes moved to the ball -- and then when it was a TD I was wondering how that ball got through there

Stupid Eric Green he was standing right next to Boss. He was also standing right next to the receiver on another Giants TD.
