49ers @ Rams

Great 49ers secondary getting lit up by Bulger... God, why did we not do it last game. I believe it was both Leinart stinking and conservative play calling.

Alex Smith sucks, plain and simple. We just let him drive the length of the field on that final drive by being preventive crap.

The game isn't on here. I am only getting the Giants/GB and Pitt/Buff. looking at the stat line though i am seeing that SF appears to be doing a pretty good job on Jackson though.

Neither of these teams looks very good. SF defense has been ok, better in the 2nd half. Alex Smith has fumbled twice i think. Gore ripped off 1 good run, Jackson not doing a whole lot.

The Rams suck. I was hoping they could beat this sloppy SF team, but they are just bad. Bulger is scared, he's been thrown around all game.

Got to give SF D lots of credit, they have carried the team to a 2-0 start. If the 9ers offense starts to click, they will win the division.

Two squeakers for the team from the bay will only enhance their confidence.

Must win game for the Cards today!

yeah the 49ers defense is really good and Patrick Willis is going to be something special in this league. By the way so far i'm really regreting picking Stephen Jackson on my fantasy team he is doing nothing...

The 49ers will come back to earth. They'll finish 9-7 at best. Yes, they are 2-0, but they EASILY could be 0-2. Those last minute wins will wear out.

Whiners luck out again!

For one thing, Wilkins late FG attempt scraped the crossbar. If he's six inches closer Frisco loses. A couple keys: Dante Hall muffed a punt late, leading to the winning Whiner FG. Earlier in the game, Clemons forced a fumble by Holt with the Rams driving and likely instead the 15 yard line. That's a sure FG and possibly a TD loss.

The Rams O-line struggled protecting Bulger. They miss Orlando Pace and Incognito. The Rams pass offense shredded the Niners. Bruce went crazy literally destroying Clemons and Harris.

The Niners are lucky to be 2-0. They have escaped serious injury so far. Gore still doesn't look that good. But Willis is a beast. Great draft pick by the Whiners.

Here's what I was wondering. Why was Nolan wearing a windbreaker over his suit this week ... in a dome ... and not last week at night in S.F.

The fumbled punt cost them the game. Still could have won it if FG attempt went one yard further.

The niners have been held for under 200 yds in offense for two straight weeks and won both games.

I can't stand that team. Even Nolan bugs the hell out of me.

San Fran has been outplayed the in both of their games, but somehow has found ways to win.
