3rd String QB Issue

Now that Davey has been cut, we are left with three options:

1) Stick with Navarre as the #3 even though he has looked less than lackluster in preseason.

2) Cut Navarre also, search the waiver wire for someone else's refuse who will need time to learn the system.

5) Cut Navarre also and go with 2 QBs to start the season - picking up a waiver wire guy if Warner goes down.

With Warner as the #1 we can't go into the season with only two QBs, IMO.

I vote we sign Neil Lomax. Didn't he play the same time as Jeff George?

EDIT: Forgot about Neil's hip. Sign Chris Chandler instead.

Jeff George was just signed by the Raiders so I guess we are stuck with Navarre now.

Then we'd need to get Glanville in here as an asst.

I love that we're worried about the 3rd string QB as opposed to the first. Love. It.

Waive Navarre and keep an extra player. In an emergency, Boldin can throw, and Holliday too right (put him on PS.)

I'd rather have Boldin behind center than Navarre. And if it got down to the 3rd string, we're screwed anyway.
