While on our best drive of the game (not the one with the 71 yard run) the momentum was switching in our direction. With out a single play from shotgun (except one in which we handed off), we were marching down field with a 2 back set.
Then Beanie goes to the sideline and Whiz abandons the run, against the worst rushing defense in the league he proceeds to go shotgun pass 2 straight plays...ending the drive with a punt. We could have ran the ball twice in a row, don't care who, Hyphen,Smith, Taylor...it's the worst rushing defense in the league and it's only second down. I think we can gain 2 yards in 2 plays, a yard per carry will do the trick.

If you must pass, why not keep the 2 back set so the defense doesn't send the house at Skelton, like they have been every shotgun play this game.

I hope we win this game.

When I play rock, paper, scissors, I keep a glass of water in my hand and when my opponent throws down I throw the water in his face and say "Water". Beats all three, scissors can't cut-it, paper dissolves and the rock sinks. Plus it usually surprises the hell out of them.

First drive of the second half, I am tickled pink. Whiz scrapped the shotgun plays (minus one after being backed up via the holding penalty) and went down field. Whiz even ran it twice in a row, then went play action and deep to Fitz, super stoked. Skelton looks like he is focusing on getting his throws down, Beanie looks like he can go Beast mode any time. Now the defense can take over.

My apologies to Whiz, who adjusted the game plan by scrapping the shotgun spread, staying with the run, and making sure Beanie got that record.
Much props to Beanie friggin Wells. Beast mode fo sho!
Skelton looks like he throws better with a drop back added to his routine, his throws were more accurate even on the play actions.

Great friggin game, I love me some Peterson. Loving life.
