Record = 9-7 (possible wild card) We start off hottttt but that brutal 2nd half schedule gets us.
Offense:
Tim Hightower scores 6 TD's for us this year. However Edge does accumalate another 1200 yards and becomes top 5 all time.
Matt Leinart finally becomes the QBOF and show why we drafted him. However he will be dinged and probably miss 1 game possibly 2. Will have less than 12 Ints with 22 or more TD's.
Q and fitz both have great years. However this year Q is determined a little more than usual and gets the nod for the PB.
Steve Breaston will return 2 punts for TD's
Whisenhunt finally pulls out the trick plays we heard about in Pitt. and uses them at least 5 times at various points during the season.
Rackers recovers and has a solid and steady season as the kicker.
Defense:
Finally emerges and is a solid top 10 Defense in the NFL
Adrian Wilson returns to the PB and has a monster year I predict at least one fumble or int for a TD.
Karlos Dansby is a man possessed and will make his 1st PB. Will have 6+ sacks and be involved in at least 4 TO's either by Int or FF.
Chike Okeafor makes us completely forget about the season Pace had. 8 sacks.
Calais Campbell and Iwebema play well enough in their rookie campaigns to allow us to let Antonio Smith to walk next year.
Rod Hood will again lead the team in Int's
6 guesses for O and 7 for D!
What are yours?

It all depends on who our PK is. With Rackers, we are 8-8 & he will cost us at least 2 games. With a different kicker, we will be looking at 10-6 & NFC West champions. It's absolutely mind boggling that that some on this board predict that he will rebound. Rebound from what? 95% of his career has revolved around him having a great leg, but missing 50% of his clutch kicks. We have NO shot at the playoffs with this guy. I'm probably wrong in saying that he will cost us 2 games because he will be gone after the 1st miscue. That being said, I'll predict 9-7 & a possible wild card slot.
Not much of a surprise to many in here: Elton Brown
Defense:
Haggans 4.5 Sacks
Dansby will lead in tackles 105
AW and Rolle will be starting safeties in the ProBowl!
Rolle will lead the team with 8 or 9 picks
Branch will validate my anger on draft day 2007 as to why we traded up to draft him and will be gone by next offseason.
Surprise Player
DRC
Will be starting by week 7 will end up with 7 picks
i have video of him up at training camp guaranteeing to me he will get "anything over 6" for the number of pics, and he will take four back to the house, so i would be pumped if that is true.

1-800-BEATASU? really?
1.) First 3 out of 4 games are on the road... Uh..... anyone check our road record over the last 5 years??
2.) Our last 7 games of the season are against high-quality, playoff caliber teams, with the exception being the Rams... The other six are Seattle (twice), Giants, Eagles, Vikings & Patriots. Eagles and Pats are road games!!
We better figure out the secret to winning on the road, and we better dominate early in the season, or - come the halfway point, 2008 can very easily be toast...
