That exact snatched defeat from jaws of victory came to mind when Folk's kick eeked over.

You just knew we'd lose the cointoss.

I hope this game has the exact opposite effect the Bears game did, we completely imploded after that. Green fired/demoted Rowen, Matt's play fell off because his QB coach was now the OC and up in the booth, players quit on Green, nightmare scenario.

This can be the game that pulls our season together, despite all the problems we pull the win out, bye week to heal up, and then a chance to put the rest of the division in our rear view mirror.

People need to notice of the 6 games we've played this year, 4 of our opponents are over .500 and 3 of them have 4 wins(Buffalo, Dallas, Washington). So the early schedule wasn't as easy as we thought but we came out of it ok. the tough part of our schedule doesn't look as tough now either.

Look at the rest of the schedule only the Giants game looks like a tough game to see us winning and it's a home game for us.

NE doesn't have Brady, Minnesota nowhere near as good as expected, Eagles are all beat up right now. If we continue to play well we have a very real chance to win 10-11 games.

Seriously, I never thought of it (MNF vs. Chicago)!

This game vs. Dallas had a different tenor to it the entire game. Cardinals controlled the game from start to finish. Dallas was lucky to even be in this game at the end. It wasn't as close as the score!

Even when Dallas tied to force OT, I was confident the Cardinals were not going to falter in this one.

Ok, losing the OT coin toss had me a little worried...

They're not the SOC!

I'm going to go on the line here. Mark this win down as the turning point for this Cards teams. Refs making lots of bad calls against them in the relatively national spotlight, and they pull a win out. This team IMO has finally learned how to win against good teams when things start going bad.

I just K-N-E-W it was gonna be déjà vu of the Bears debacle when that first field goal at the end of the game was blocked, only to see we called time out like, a nano-second before.

I figured it might end with Special teams play of some sort, but no way did I see it the way it actually happened, and to our benefit too boot!

Between that game and an absolutely gorgeous day tailgating, I couldn’t think of a better way to stone-kill a Sunday to smithereens.

Rock on, Cards!...

There were more than a few Cardinals meltdowns that I had in mind when we went up by 10 that were only compounded by the fact that after Rackers hit the field goal to put us up that there was a mass exodus of people in Cards gear (notice how I do not call them "fans") that hit the exits.

The Cowboy's fan next to me said "Well, that's the ballgame."

I said "Anyone who thinks this ballgame is over hasn't watched a lot of Cardinal football over the years."

I was just about to pull a New Castle from the fridge, then realized tha was the beer I drank before the Bears loss. I put it away and got a glass of ice water.

You can thank me for not jinxing the Cards.

I agree with CardLogic, it didn't have the same feel as the Bears game to me. I did allow the negative thoughts to creep in about how many times we have blown games like this in the past. But I also had a calmness and quite confidence that the Cards would win this game. I also took pause when we lost the coin toss.

Absolutely!!! As I sat with my face buried in my hands and screaming Cowboy fans all around me, I thought back to that game.
