Papa John's is the main pizza place on my campus, and so we're forced to eat that a lot - so yeah, I definitely agree with you about their sauce. We tried it once without the sauce, and it was SO good. So now I get as little to no sauce as possible

One pizza that makes me want to hurl is BBQ Chicken Pizza.

WTF?

Pizza is cheese and tomato sauce... not chicken and BBQ sauce!

Favorite: just good ol' pepperoni

I like italian sausage & meat balls too on the pizza.

Favorite pizza places:

1.) Pizza Picazzo (Stapley/Baseline) - fantastic, but pricey

2.) Nello's

3.) Pizza Bianco

I remember Nello's in Scottsdale. I used to go there. Good pizza!

Does anyone remember NYPD PIZZA? Or something like that. They were/are located in North Scottsdale and had great pizza. Anyone know if they are still around?

I haven't eaten a pizza for a while, but Dominoes used to have a cheeseburger pizza with hamburger, cheese and bacon that was excellent, especially in the thick crust.

When we go to Oregano's for pizza, we get what we laughingly call the carnivore special:

Stuffed pizza with sausage, pepperoni, meatballs, onions and mushrooms

Good stuff.

No fish, no pineapple and no green peppers for me.
