What goes on a Bratwurst??!

Grabbed some at the market this week, and lookin forward to cookin em up this weekend. I don't have a grill, so I'll be pan cooking them, but I wanted to know WHAT THE HELL GOES ON THEM?? I haven't had a Bratwurst in years, and can't remeber what I had on it then. I was thinking peppers and onions and cheddar cheese. Does that sound about right? I contemplated saurkraut, but I ususally do that for hot dogs and hot sausages. Is cheese even acceptable? Please don't tell me "whatever you put is fine". I need that authentic Green Bay Packers tailgate taste. (I know I know, I need a grill for that. At least get me close) Maybe I should have joined their MB just to ask that question?

Sauerkraut and brown, or hot, mustard.

That's it, salads go on Polish sausages.
