I only do it sometimes. It was something my ex-stepfather did that kinda has stuck. My wife does it sometimes too.

Tuna, steamed white rice, peanuts, and soy sauce.

Scrumptious. Wholesome. Healthy. Filling.

Otherwise I'd go, tuna, celery, green onions, mayo, on wheat with romaine lettuce and salt/pepper.

I eat it hot.

It's usually a work lunch thing for me, so the rice is prepared the night before and I add the tuna, peanuts, and soy sauce after.

Then I warm it up at work.

Love it. Especially on days I work out.

Tuna, Mayo, Mustard, Relish, Salt & Pepper, Lemon Juice, Green Olives, Diced onions, and Shredded Cheddar.

Mix it all together and slap on some sourdough with a little bit of tabasco.

While I agree it's preferred, if I don't have any tomatoes in the house, that won't stop me from having a tuna salad sandwich if I want it.

When I have all of my fixin's

1. mayo
2. mustard
3. horseradish(sometimes I'll substitute a horseradish sauce for the mustard)
4. olive oil
5. diced pickles
6. pepper

water chestnuts give tuna a great crunch, but I never bother to buy them. I'm not trying to impress anyone with my tuna.
