I did a shift today at the catering joint i fill in off days at and they made me make family meal for like 40 people. We had: chili soy marinaded flank steak from the grill, decent, but I work with a bunch of hispanic folk who HATE any meat under super well done, and Im forced to kill the meat for their benefit. Tempura crispy chicken strips served on a cold grilled veggie salad dressed in sesame and soy. Roasted asparagus, roasted new potatoes, and creamy mascarpone polenta. Rice and beans, and a green salad. Sounds good, it was less than thrilling.

I had left over beef and chicken kabobs with wild rice.

Then I took a walk and read a little bit on a park bench.
