We might be lost for awhile without him. One of us may do something ridiculous like put Chocolate Syrup on a steak. But he's got bigger fish to fry right now....he needs to get that PUN OF THE DAY Thread going.
I'd step to the plate, but I have a feeling that some of you wouldn't respect my authoritah anyway.

Jeez, it's a friggin ingredient. If you want a vanilla coke, vanilla isn't a condiment. It cannot be made without vanilla. Let's not get carried away here, folks.
EDIT: it opens an interesting can of worms, though. You can't make a ruben without 1000 Island dressing...does the dressing change from condiment to ingredient? Or, is the condiment an ingredient? Hmm. I guess some things are better left unknown.

No....like at the soda fountains. Out here in a PHX we have Gas Stations. And inside those gas stations you can add cherry, vanilla and some other squirts of flavor. So are they condiments??
Right, so you're making your drink--your vanilla coke. Or your cherry coke.
Is Coke or Rum the condiment in a Rum and Coke? Neither! It's a rum and coke--you can't make it without those two things.
If it's essential to what your making, I think I'd fall on the side of "not condiment." I mean, a hot dog is still a hot dog without mustard.
