Tex AZ
Ate there Friday Night after bowling. It is on !6th Street and Bethany Home.
They specialize in "Texas" foods - steaks, etc.
I had the chicken-fried Chicken. good - but artery clogging. Juicy breast meat, with thick breading, and loads of gravy on top.
The Salad and Cole Slaw were inedible, though.

Oh Man, the Golden Phoenix. I used to work at Del Webb corportae, at 24th and Camelback when I lived in Phoenix and we trekked it to the GP OFTEN for lunch. Id get the call at like 11:30 from my man in marketing (I was I.T.) and Id pick up and he'd say "BOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!" and Id start drooling. Then we went one day and it was closed by order of the health department. Suck. I miss Bong.
